Planned inspections will be done this year of the two state-owned companies "National Electric Company" EAD and "Electricity System Operator" EAD, as well as of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria AD, Electricity Distribution North and Electricity Distribution South. This was made clear at a meeting of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.
The planned check-ups affect the size of the annual turnover of the companies concerned, the value of the fixed assets, the financial results of the previous year, the number of alerts and consumer complaints received against them and the non-fulfillment of the quality indicators of the services provided.
The check-ups will be thematic and will focus on issues that consumers pose in their complaints and alerts to the Commission. The regulator will also prepare assessments and analyzes of the measures that the licensees take to remedy the problems encountered.
