Following an official partnership and a signed cooperation agreement with the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), the agencys leadership has requested the BPVA support in raising awareness for a newly announced public tender. The goal is to ensure maximum transparency, widespread outreach, and the active participation of qualified companies from our industry.
The scope of the contract encompasses all construction and assembly works, including the supply of required raw materials, machinery, skilled labor, and all associated activities necessary for full project completion in accordance with technical specifications and approved investment documentation.
Building Permit No. 18 / Dec 12, 2025 has been issued by the Chief Architect of Sofia Municipality (Sredets District), and all works must strictly adhere to the approved technical investment design. The core objective of the project is to deliver a sustainable energy retrofit for the public administrative building located at 49 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Sofia. By implementing integrated energy-saving measures, the project aims to elevate the performance rating of the building to Energy Class A, pursuant to the Ordinance under Article 48 of the Energy Efficiency Act (EEA).
The energy efficiency package for the BTA administrative facility features a comprehensive set of measures, including external wall thermal insulation, the replacement of legacy windows with high-efficiency PVC joinery, and the thermal insulation of roof surfaces and terraces. Additionally, the scope covers replacing existing lighting fixtures with LED systems, installing a photovoltaic system, and constructing a centralized heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
