On the 11th of June an expert discussion from the series Energy Managers’ Forum was held on the theme: Price "Duty to the society" and market forecasts for the next price period, to which the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Organization is a general sponsor.
The main participants in the discussion were: Assoc. Prof. Ivan Ivanov, Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission; Ventsislav Markov, Head of, Regulation, pricing and economic analysis Department, NEK EAD; Mrs. Meglena Rusenova, Chairman of the Board of the BPVA; Boyan Karshakov, Chairman of the Management Board, Hydro Energy Association; Kaloyan Staikov, Senior Economist, Institute for Market Economics.
During the event, two main topics were discussed:
- Price formation, based on the market forecasts and defined preferential prices in the report of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, as well as the effect of the price on theenergy consumers.
2.The effects on the electricity market by the inclusion of 1 MW and above 1 MW capacity on the free market.
