Prices in the electricity sector for the new regulatory period 01.07.2023 - 30.06.2024

On June 30, 2023 with Decision No. Ц-13/30.06.2023, the EWRC determined the estimated market price by groups of producers depending on the primary energy source for the period 01.07.2023 - 30.06.2024 in the amount as follows:

• Producers of electricity from solar energy – BGN 250,27/MWh;
• Producers of electricity from wind energy – BGN 231,83/MWh;
• Producers of electricity produced by hydropower plants with installed capacity up to 10 MW – BGN 265,67/MWh;
• Producers of electricity from biomass – BGN 260,12/MWh.

With Decision No. Ц-13/30.06.2023 the EWRC set preferential prices for the period 01.07.2023 - 30.06.2024 for the purchase of electricity produced by photovoltaic power plants, which are planned to be built on roofs and facade constructions, as follows:

• Photovoltaic power plants with a total installed capacity of up to 5 kW inclusive, which are planned to be built on roof and facade structures of buildings connected to the electricity distribution network and on real estate to them in urban areas - BGN 208,80/MWh, with net specific production 1,406 kWh/kWp;
   
• Photovoltaic power plants with a total installed capacity of over 5 kWp to 30 kWp inclusive, which are planned to be built on roof and facade structures of buildings connected to the electricity distribution network and on real estate to them in urban areas - BGN 172,88/MWh, at net specific production 1 406 kWh/kWp.

With Decision No. Ц-14/30.06.2023, the EWRC approved a price for access to the electricity transmission network for producers of electricity from renewable sources with dynamically changing generation, which is due to producers of electricity from solar and wind energy, connected to the electricity transmission and distribution networks, for the entire amount of electricity produced, amounting to BGN 4.86/MWh, excluding VAT.

The decision approves the "obligation to society" fee in the amount of BGN 0,00/MWh, excluding VAT.
