BPVA received a letter from Elektrorazpredelenie Yug EAD (ER Yug), in which the network operator informs about the resumption of its initiative to create a unified Grid Code EVN template for setting up grid-tied inverters. Building on the "Technical conditions for parallel operation of RES and BESS" adopted in early 2024, the company appeals to all manufacturers, importers, and traders to factory-integrate this template into the equipment they offer.
ER Yug emphasizes that having a pre-configured template will bring significant benefits and convenience to investors in photovoltaic plants and installation teams. The factory-preset Grid Code EVN will drastically reduce commissioning time, as the network operator is currently required to verify the entire functional group of settings for each individual inverter, which further delays the process.
In addition to the time saved, the automatic loading of settings will significantly minimize the risk of human error and optimize resources. This will allow the configuration to be carried out quickly, easily, and without additional costs, even by technicians with a lower level of specialized training. Such a standardized approach will ensure uniform technical operating conditions for all inverters and guarantee their full compliance with European and national standards for the safety and reliability of the electricity distribution network.
A detailed table with all the necessary technical parameters required for creating the template is attached to the letter.
