From the 25th of January in Romania, private households and companies will be able to get government compensation up to 90% for installing solar photovoltaic modules. But there is a limit: the amount should not exceed $ 4830 per project.
The Office of the Environment Fund in Romania presented a preferential program to stimulate the development of solar energy in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The program started on January 25th. Stakeholders will be able to apply until the 1st of March 1st. Under this program, the Romanian Government will provide support to individuals and trade organizations that intend to install solar power plants with a power output of over 3 kW. The state will compensate for up to 90% of the cost of buying and installing roof panels, provided that such subsidy will not exceed 20,000 lei ($ 4830).
