Even if it appeals against the decision of the European Commission (EC) to impose a fine on Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD (BEH) and its subsidiaries Bulgargaz EAD and Bulgartransgaz EAD, Bulgaria will have to pay the fine imposed, a spokesman for the Commission in response to a question relating to the announced intentions to appeal against the decision.
